Meet Tutor, the national version of Twitter: here’s how to download and register

|

Of late, there has been an increase in the number of ‘Made in India’ applications and some of these are said to be effective alternatives to Chinese applications that are banned in the country. One such newly launched application is Tutor, the native version of the popular micro-blogging site Twitter. Tutor is available for Android devices and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Meet Tutor, the national version of Twitter: here's how to download

Tutor application is illustrated

Tutor has been making a splash in the internet world for the past few days. Well, this app can do everything Twitter does. The interface is very similar to Twitter in terms of both design and layout. The color scheme is also similar to Twitter, but Tutor has not yet clarified how to check user profiles and how they get blue ticks. Now, it says that users will be verified by becoming a Tutor Pro user, but the process is not detailed.

Like Twitter, Tutor users can like, comment and re-post other people’s posts called DOTS. One can only see the toads of their followers, including text, pictures, videos, etc. To sign up for a Tutor account, one must use a Gmail or Yahoo account. Once you create an account, you will follow two accounts – News and Tutor CEO Nanda, you will not be able to follow them.

How to download Tutor

The Tutor app is already available for Android and the web. For now, there is no word on when the iOS version of the app will be released. You can download and install the app on your Android smartphone by going to Google Play.
