Nintendo is once again connecting video games and physical devices with the Mario Cart Live: Home circuit. It will definitely bring Mario Kart to life in your living room. If you’re interested, you can take a closer look at the retailer’s preorder orders before its Friday, October 16 Release. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit Currently available for preorder at the Nintendo Store. You can snag the Mario or Luigi version. If you look at how quickly preorder sells elsewhere, you may be in a hurry.
Mario Kart Live: The home circuit comes in two different sets, one is Mario RC Kart and the other is Luigi. Each set comes with four checkpoint gates, two arrow signboards and a USB-C charging cord that powers the cart. The game is free to download from Ishop.
The cart has a mounted camera that keeps track of progress as you move around the room with the Nintendo Switch (or Nintendo Switch Lite). If you have room to move checkpoint gates freely, you can get creative with the layout of your track. Cart’s movements appear on the switch screen along with additional elements such as boost pads, elements and defined track limits. The cart responds to obstacles and power-ups in the game. For example, if you run into something, the cart will stop and if you get a boost, the cart will accelerate.
With one set, you can play Grand Prix mode against couplings and work to unlock new course customization features and outfits. Although fore-player has local multiplayer support, you will need additional Mario Kart live sets and switch consoles.
