South Korean electronics company LG is expanding its 2021 range of soundbars with three new models: DSP2 (2.1, 100 watts), DQP5 (3.1.2, 320 watts) and DG1 (3.1, 360 watts). All new additions mentioned support AI Sound Pro with AI-supported audio optimization technology, previously announced and released DSP series from LG (PRAT News) Has been used.
Wireless Speakers, Dolby Atmos, DTS: X, EARC, HTMLI 2.1 and DGP5 and DG1 4KBuyers of Pastru, DSP2 (HDMI 1.4, ARC and integrated speakers) including Dolby Vision support will have to do without these features. There is no new sound generator for AirPlay 2 and voice assistants. For this purpose the DG1 comes with high-res audio, while the DQP5 comes with Meridian technology, which should have “clear sound, strong bass and exceptional real audio experience in music mode”.
LG is inviting the following unrestricted selling prices for new soundbar models:
LG DSP2 For 189 euros
LG DQP5 For 699 euros
LG DG1 For 999 euros
The LG DSP2 is already available from the first German online retailers. Siblings should follow soon. Devices are available in black, white (TQP5) or gray (DSP2) versions, with the exception of the DG1, which is designed to be compatible with LG’s OLED TV series G1. Available.
