The Jasper Lake processors were announced at Intel CES in January 2021, where they were found on the entry level mini-PCs for the new Intel NUC 11 essential, office automation.
During CES in Las Vegas 2021, Intel will launch the Jasper Lake, Celeron and Pentium processors at 10 Nm. These low power CPUs are equipped with 6 or 10 W TDP with a base frequency of 1.1 and 2 GHz respectively.

Three types of mini-PCs called Atlas Canyon will be offered. One case is shown with a quad core Intel Pentium Silver J6005 with 2 GHz and the turbo with a 3.3 GHz clock, while the other combines Celeron J5105 and J40000 CPUs. The first is clocked at 2.9 GHz with a four-core, 2 GHz turbo, and the second has only two cores with a base frequency of 2 GHz, which can climb up to 2.7 GHz. For the graphics area, there is no dedicated GPU, but there will be no integrated Intel HUD graphics, clocked at 750 MHz and 900 MHz depending on the model.
Up to 16GB of RAM can be on board and Intel has for the first time removed the 2.5-inch format for storage – this is the slot for the M2 SST. This should save a small amount of space and allow a reduced format NUC (135 x 115 x 36 mm).
However, the link is well provided. There is an HDMI 2.0b port, a display port 1.4, four USB-A3.1 and two USB-A3.0 ports, as well as an Ethernet port. There is also a microphone jack and a headphone output, with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. However, the USB-C ports are missing.
Prices for the various models have not yet been announced, but entry-level mini-PCs are expected to cost no more than a few hundred dollars. Availability at the beginning of 2022 is not expected.
