Join Megadeth, Descendants + Northlane Connected Download Festival 2021

In the news that Fomo triggers for Aussie heavy music fans should come with caution, Megadeth, Descendants, Boston Manor and Northlane have already been added to the already stacked download festival UK 2021.

As part of the 17 additions announced today through a Spooky Season video, they will be joining Kiss, System of a Down, Piffy Claro, A Day to Remember, Deftons, Kojira and Heps.

Following the cancellation of the IRL download ceremony for 2020, the UK’s premier rock festival has accelerated it to 2021, with a line that reads like a negative middle finger salute to 2020. Seriously, Excellent print only Enough to embarrass most festivals!

It is set to take place June 4-6, at the spiritual home of metal in Donington Park, and the download ceremony promises to be an all-time razor 2021. Tickets are on sale via now Festival website. Fans of Australia’s music festival-starving should be warned that watching this will bring back all the bad thoughts brought about by the cancellation of the download festival Australia in March. It may not be ‘The Black Parade’, but as the COVID-19 numbers fall and foreign festivals progress, perhaps this could be a sign of a download ceremony.
