Apple released iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 on Friday. There are several fixes in the updates, including one for this issue of not being able to open the iPhone with the Apple Watch while your face is covered. Refusing to enable this feature forced the iPhone user to enter their passcode even in public.
After updating the iPhone to iOS 15, many users reported seeing a message that their storage was almost full, even though they had enough storage capacity left. According to release notes, the latest update fixes this issue.
Corrections
On the iPhone, the update fixes the following issues:
- Unlocking the iPhone with the Apple Watch may not work with some iPhone 13s.
- Settings usage may incorrectly indicate that storage space is full.
On the iPad, the update presentation only shows the bug fix, but does not list anything specific.
To download the update, go to Settings> General> Software Update. Then click Download and install.
