The Kovid-19 pandemic with India has hit a record number of smartphone users worldwide and Brazil is a leader in Android-powered devices. Google Play is led by both countries, while the US and China lead the rest of the Apple ecosystem.

Of these figures, non-gaming apps accounted for 35% of iOS and 20% of Google, mostly driven by subscriptions. The United States and Japan are the top markets for these costs on iOS and South Korea on Google Play.
The survey suggests that Facebook dominated the top four following WhatsApp, FB Messenger and Instagram. Next on the list are Amazon, followed by Twitter, Netflix and Spotify.
