Huawei MatePad11 Review: The first tablet under HarmonyOS2

Huawei MatePad11 Review: The first tablet under HarmonyOS2

The Matpad 11 only offers a single 13-megapixel photo gallery. The latter comes with a flash. There is little to say about the result, which is only good during the day.

Main volume: 13 megapixels, f / 1.8

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (eq.27 mm, f / 1,9, ISO 64, 1/100 s)
Huawei MatePad 11 (f / 1,8, ISO 172, 1/50s)

During the day, the Matpad 11 delivers a well-exposed shot, which is better than a Samsung tablet. The picture is generally well detailed – the software processing tab is less powerful than the S6 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (eq.27 mm, f / 1,9, ISO 1250, 1/10 s)
Huawei Matpad 11 (f / 1,9, ISO 5549, 1/11 s)

At night, not the same story. The Hawaiian process softens all the details of the photo display in an attempt to erase the appearance of digital noise due to the strong increase in sensitivity (ISO 5549). In the end, the clich is much less usable. Awful.

Front and video module

On the front, Huawei fits its tablet with an 8-megapixel volume. If taking a selfie with such a large device is a dangerous exercise, the camera would be perfect for video conferencing. Especially since the latter is placed on the right edge of the device, the tablet will face your face when switching to landscape mode. The quality is good without being overpowering, but it’s more than enough for video calls.

In video, the tablet can shoot up to 4K at 30 fps. Although it is always rare to take a picture with a tablet – it is always good to take it especially with an arm length of 500g.
