OnePlus continues to release Android 12 via its internal operating system, OxygenOS. The brand’s new phone is only in beta from the latest version of Android. We explain how to install it.
After updating its high-end series OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 8, OnePlus is now focusing on its mid-range models. This is the first OnePlus Nord system to be released in 2020, to benefit from the first beta version of OxygenOS12.
This beta version allows experienced users to test the latest version of OxygenOS before its official release. It includes all the new features that Android 12 brought with it, such as Material U, better management of widgets, more privacy settings or a camera and microphone usage indicator.
What Oxygen OS 12 brings

Like the OxygenOS 12 in the OnePlus 9, which had a share of bugs, it is quite possible to encounter some in the OnePlus Nord. Uploading or deleting photos in the cloud may be difficult or impossible, as errors in the personal folder may appear, as well as the screen flashing in preview mode after taking a photo.
How to install Oxygen OS 12 Beta?
To install this beta, you need to download it OTA package Hosted by OnePlus. Once downloaded, it should be in the root directory of the internal storage. Then navigate Settings> System> System Updates> Local Update Select the OTA package to begin the installation.
