    A few weeks ago, Instagram announced the use of a new feature to easily recover deleted content from an account. If this option is not available until now, it looks like Instagram has started using its recycling bin among French users.
    Thanks to this system, now thirty days, all photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos and Stories They have been deleted from your account.

    This mode reminds you that photos in iOS and Google Photos are in use, allowing you to retrieve deleted items over a period of time.
    But in the case of Instagram, enabling this method will allow users to easily retrieve their content if their account is hacked. Permanently deleting items from Instagram’s trash is actually subject to the user’s second authorization.

    As deployment of this feature is in progress, it may not be available in your account yet. If our account got the option from the iOS app, it is not yet implemented on Android

    1. Go to Account Settings

    Open Instagram and go to your profile page Settings Of your account.

    2. Recover your content

    Once Settings, Enter the menu Account, Then access the menu Recently deleted. Contains all content that has been deleted from your account in the last thirty days. To reset an item, open it, press the options menu indicated by three small dots, and select Reset.

    You must repeat the process for each deleted item that you want to recover.

    3. Remove the contents of the recycling tank permanently

    Now you have recovered items that you do not want to lose, you can delete other items permanently from Instagram’s trash if you wish, without waiting for them to be automatically deleted after a period of thirty days.

    To do this, show the photo or video and tap and hold the three small dots to show the options Remove. Confirm by pressing Remove In the pop-up that appears.

    Instagram has set up a security to prevent hackers from hijacking your content without your knowledge. Permanent deletion of photos or videos requires a second authorization.

    On the side Make sure you retrieve or permanently delete your content, Make sure the partially hidden email address is correct and press As follows. You will need to receive a security code via email, which you will need to enter To confirm Deleting your content.
