One of the obvious options, such as the lack of a clubhouse – or other native audio features on other sites – is the ability to record live audio and download it for later use.

Since thousands of discussions are taking place at the same time, it is difficult to choose whether or not to participate in all of them. Although this can be achieved with third-party tools and software, there is no native solution yet.

According to Twitter, although it does not offer a native recording feature, it does hold audio recordings for up to 30 days. Now, to quickly build its live audio product, Twitter has announced that it will allow hosts to download these recordings.

4 Steps To Download Twitter Spaces Audio Records

Records are available in the “Data” of the host data download. For:

1. Go to “Settings”;
2. Click “Your Account” and go to the “Download and Archive Your Data” tab.
3. Click “Request Archive” and Twitter will notify you when a zip file of your Twitter data is available.
4. Once you find the zip file, you can open it to find your space audio files in the data folder.

Twitter says the process will take 24 hours, although it could take longer.

Of course, if the hosts want to use audio later they need to make sure they have the approval of their speakers. They are the ones who can download the audio files, not the participants.
