Meanwhile, at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple showcased macOS Ventura The latest version of its desktop platform. Also known as macOS Ventura macOS 13, launching this fall, will bring new features to desktops and laptops. (MacOS updates are usually released in September.) Along with improvements to Messages, Safari, the Mail app, and Continuity, there’s also a brand new multitasking tool called Stage Manager.
Because of the new version of macOS, the new block of Macs can no longer run Apple’s current desktop operating system. The new macOS Ventura update, for example, is not available on the 2015 MacBook Pro.
This laptop became an instant fan favorite because it was the last to include the classic scissor-switch keyboard before Apple replaced it with the much-maligned butterfly keyboard. What is an ISO image?
The term ISO is derived from the ISO 9660 file system, which is often used by optical media. An ISO image is a complete copy of everything recorded on a physical optical disc, such as a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc. There is no compression and it is a copy of every sector of the disk. ISO images are designed to allow you to save an exact digital copy of a disc, and then use that image to burn a new disc that is a copy of the original.
While many people use ISO images to back up their optical discs, ISO images are now widely used to distribute large applications and operating systems because they allow all data to be easily downloaded in a single file. People can choose to upload the photo or burn an optical disc with it.
