The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), issued by Aadhar, allows subscribers to download a digital copy of their Aadhar card through its official website – uidai.gov.in or.
After a person registers for the Aadhaar card by visiting the Center, he / she can download and print the Aadhaar using the registration ID, virtual ID or Aadhaar number provided by UIDAI.

According to the policy bazaar, here are the steps to download and print the e-Aadhar card online using the Aadhar number:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Aadhar – uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Go to ‘My Aadhar’ option and click on ‘Download Aadhar’
Step 3: Under the ‘I have’ section, select the ‘Adar’ option
Step 4: Now, enter the 12 digit reference number
Step 5: Enter the captcha verification code and click on the ‘Send OTP’ option to retrieve the password once
Step 6: Enter the received OTP
Step 7: Now, click on ‘Verify and Download’ to download the electronic copy of the source

Here are the steps to download an e-Aadhar card using Virtual ID (VIT):
Step 1: Visit UIDAI’s online portal
Step 2: Click ‘Download Source’
Step 3: Select the VIT option from the ‘I have’ section
Step 4: Enter the virtual ID, full name, zip code and security code
Step 5: Now click on ‘Send OTP’ to create OTP
Step 6: E-source will be downloaded. One can access it by entering the Aadhaar card password
Here are the steps to download E-Aadhar card using Registration Number (EIT):
Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI – uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘Download Source’ option
Step 3: New page open. Enter registration ID number and 14 digit time and date values
Step 4: Enter full name, pin code, image captcha code
Step 5: Click ‘Request OTP’ to create OTP
Step 7: Press the ‘Confirm’ button
Step 8: Enter the OTP and click on the ‘Download Source’ option
