MacOS Montessori was released during WWDC 2021 with some notable new features. The primary focus is to further enhance seamless gaming between iOS and macOS, as well as enhance security and privacy, adding some features to explore in the latest redesign of Apple MacOS.
As usual, Apple has released the MacOS 12 beta for developers to test. So if you want to see new features, follow the guide to learn how to download and install MacOS Monterey Beta.
First, Make sure you have an active Apple Developer Account (99 euros / year), because participation in the beta program is essential. Another thing you should check regularly is to make sure that all your data is securely backed up. Since beta software is generally unstable due to random errors, I recommend using a secondary device to test the beta of MacOS 12. In terms of compatibility, the Magos 12 should support the Max 2014 or later.
MacOS makes it easy to back up your data through Time Machine. Start System Options and select Time Machine. Now run Time Machine and select Select Backup Disk option. After that, select the disk you want to use. Time Machine will format your hard drive for backups and start the backup immediately. After taking care of the basics, let’s start with the quick steps!
