Before we begin, there is a small suggestion. Apple has reserved this first beta version for developers, and although it is possible, the general public is not authorized to install it. Also, the first builds of iOS were generally very unstable and played the role of bugs and blocking issues, which could have serious consequences for your daily use and battery life.
We therefore strongly recommend that you wait until Apple’s public beta program starts in July. While minimizing the risks, the manufacturer will provide advanced versions that will allow you to try out the new features of iOS 16 and iPadOS 16.
If you still want to install the first beta of iOS 16 today, you need to find and install the developer profile on your iPhone or iPad. After installation, you will need to restart your device.
Then go to the Settings app and then update and finally, download and install this first beta of iOS 16 or iPadOS 16. Don’t forget to backup your device locally on your PC or Mac so you can switch back to iOS 15. Do not lose any of your data.
