HMT Global has unveiled the XR20, a smartphone behind the Nokia brand that is all about sustainability … revived with its old glory.
Rough smartphones have been around for a long time now, and they are often aimed at a specific audience. HMT Global has seen this problem since the introduction of the Nokia XR20. Reminds me of the technical data sheet a of the device X20, All its landscape features are reinforced.
This model is protected by a 6.67-inch IPS screen with full HD + definition (2400 x 1080 pixels) by Gorilla Glass Victus. Here, there is no fingerprint sensor under the slab, which places the reader on the edge of the device. This set can be handled with gloves or wet hands, for example, enough to attract professionals working outside. IP68 certified, the smartphone resists submersion up to a depth of 1.50 m for 30 minutes. To highlight the strengths of the XR20, the brand has provided the services of former Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos, known for the power of his strikes. The device also meets the MIL-STD 810H standard, which provides protection against drops and shocks.
As is often the case with this type of device, the Nokia XR20 benefits, for the rest, from a simple technical sheet. This package is compatible with 5G thanks to the Snapdragon 480 SoC, as well as 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage.
There is a very classic dual rear photo sensor. The main module is the 48-megapixel Samsung Isocell GM1, whose lens opens at f / 1.79. It comes with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle (f / 2.4). On the front, the 8-megapixel module is housed in a central punch. Everything is powered by a 4,630 mAh battery, which is ideal for Qi wireless charging.
On the software side, finally, Nokia ensures that the smartphone will enjoy three major updates and benefit from a monthly security patch for four years. It is already available for 9,569.
A new feature phone with an attractive name
In a completely different style, HMT continues the business of reviving its finest models with the Global 6310. Like the remake of the 3310, this new feature features a design that the phone was inspired by its predecessor, released in 2001.
The screen expands (2.8 inches) and offers a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It is always possible to zoom in on menus. 2G compatible only, this smartphone only uses 90 and 1800 MHz GSM network. However it does support Bluetooth 5.0, WLAN and A-GPS. The Nokia 6310 accommodates a 0.3 megapixel rear camera module. An FM radio and an MP3 player (working with a microSD card) answer the call.
Nostalgia is sometimes good, as the 1150 mAh accumulator that runs this mobile promises to give you autonomy for about twenty days. Enough to engage in some iconic games Snake, Apparently already established. The terminal will be available in August for about sixty euros.
