Historical first! The NASA robot received its first piece of rock from Mars

Diligently, the NASA robot that was sent to Mars has collected its first rock model on the red planet. A historic first step!

For the first time in human history, part of the rock from another planet will be brought back to Earth! Diligently, NASA’s rover on Mars has collected its first rock model, which will be sent back to Earth by 2030.

It is the European Space Agency’s rover that has been recovering pieces of rock recovered from Mars in recent hours.

The news was released by the US space agency’s Twitter account: “I have! With the best light in the sample tube, you can see that the rock core I collected is still there. Then I’m going to process that sample and seal. The tube.”

So far, all previous attempts to retrieve the rock from the Red Planet have failed because the rock made by the rover core was so shattered.

Perseverance has been on Mars for 7 months. He explores from his bed what an ancient lake and delta river have been that have dried up for thousands of years. The rover is looking for traces of water and microorganisms on the red planet.
