Here’s how to download the first public beta of Apple Seeds TVOS 16

The public beta of tvOS 16 is available later this fall for anyone who wants to try out all the new features of the latest Apple TV operating system. Additionally, Apple will make the first public beta version of the HomePod 16 software available.

Today’s version is 20J5328g. Here’s a look at what’s new in tvOS 16 for public betas:

• Nintendo Switch Controller Compatibility: tvOS 16 will finally support Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and Pro Controller. We present this story here Netcost-security.fr. Apple says that “many additional Bluetooth and USB game controllers are supported by Game Controller” as of tvOS 16;
• HDR10+ Support: The latest generation of high dynamic range technology will be supported in the Apple TV app in tvOS 16;
• Video transfer with Apple TV+ tab: Rich video previews at the top of the Apple TV+ tab help users find their favorite Apple Original;
• AppleFitness+: With tvOS 16, at key times during training, intensity metrics are called out and appear on the screen for motivation. Intensities are easy, moderate, hard and thorough.

Finally, the HomePod 16 software will be included in public beta testing. As of now, it is not known what has changed in the HomePod platform.

Along with tvOS 16 public beta, Apple releases iOS 16 public beta, iPadOS 16 public beta, watchOS 9 public beta, and macOS 13 Ventura public beta.

How to download tvOS 16 public beta?

First, go to beta.apple.com and sign up with your Apple ID (preferably the one you use with your Apple TV). If you haven’t joined the Apple Beta Software Program before, the update may not appear on your Apple TV, so make sure you’re enrolled in the program.

After that, follow these steps:

1. open systems app on your Apple TV
2. Enter system list
3. Click on Software updates
