Have you finally come to the point where you do not want to be without Windows 11? No problem – it’s easy to get the latest operating system from Microsoft.

You can get it in three ways: wait for the Windows 10 update to arrive, trigger a download via the application, or create installation media. Below we will treat you every time.

However, before you get started, you should first check if your computer is compatible with Windows 11. If you get stuck in Windows 10, this may save you time. If you are just starting out (or have not implemented an earlier version of Windows), you can also get a cheap Windows 10 license. Updates are free, giving you full access to Windows 11 features for a pittance.

After confirming that your system is ready to use, you can download Windows 11 as follows.

Eventually, Windows 11 will be distributed to all users through Windows Update. You should receive notification when it is ready. However, if you have not been notified yet, you can check manually. Start> Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update> Check for updates.

Microsoft recommends using this method more than any other, so it’s absolutely fine if you go the easy route. If some users are forced to upgrade quickly, they may encounter hardware and software issues. Overall, there may be benefits to waiting – Windows 11 is constantly being updated and added over time.
