    Google updates ringtones for pixel phones

    The latest beta version of Android 12 includes an update not mentioned before for some ringtones. These are considered to be the new standards for current and future pixel phones. Google is revisiting its ringtones, which now sound much softer and less like the “classic” ringtone. They are very organic and personally annoying to me.

    Alarm tone, ringtone and notification tone are new

    The standard sound for the alarm clock (fresh start) is now not only twice as long, it is also less bright and softer in the ears. Google redesigns ringtones for incoming calls and sounds for notifications. All sounds have new names, but they are structurally very similar to their predecessors. So we consider these to be the new standards.
