U.S. Internet company Google announced Saturday night that Google Chrome version 89.0.4389.82 will be available for Windows, MacOS and Linux. The update only includes bug fixes and stability improvements to make Google Chrome more reliable, and new features are not expected. With the last update, 47 security holes in Chrome were closed. Google is aware of reports that exploitation for CVE-2021-21166 is in the wild. As always, access to details and links will be blocked until most users receive this update. Update for version 89.0.4389.82 is available for download via the integrated update function and via the official website. Users who have installed an older version of Google Chrome will automatically receive the update as it is now provided via the update function. If you do not want to wait too long, you can start the update manually: Open Chrome and click on the three-point menu in the top right corner -> Help – then about Google Chrome -> This dialog box will open, Chrome searches for updates -> If you get an update, Click Restart to do that.
