Before Google unveiled two new smartphones, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, in the fall, the company foresaw some details and developed a tensor chip made by Google, specifically for Pixel smartphones. Was already speculating.
Optimal AI SoC Google Tensor
Google Tensor is the first self-made SoC designed exclusively for Pixel smartphones, which will be the hub of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro next fall. Google says it has reached its limit because of its focus on artificial intelligence, which has prompted the company to develop a technology platform for mobile devices that can provide Pixel users with the most innovative AI and machine learning features (ML). SoC for smartphones was developed from this approach so that one can not only improve existing functions but also offer completely new ones. With the new design language called Android 12 and the so-called “Material U”, the tensor chip must ensure continuous smooth operation. A specialized security center in Tensor and the Titan M2 security chip provide a high level of hardware protection.
Camera bar and aluminum housing
Google also shows pictures of two new smartphones and confirms the continuous camera bar on the back that appeared in the leaks. The upgraded sensors and lenses are large enough to fit in a previously used camera square, which is why the entire camera system is housed in a raised camera bar.
Google has already revealed that the Pixel 6 Pro has a glossy aluminum frame, while the Pixel 6 has a matte aluminum surface. According to Google both should be true flatterers.
Three colors to choose from
I Google Store The company has already revealed that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be available in three color variants. The Pixel 6 Pro is available in Gold, White and Black, and the Pixel 6 is available in Red, Green and Black.
No details on technology, prices and availability
However, Google today did not release details about the functionality, technical data, pricing and availability of the new smartphones.
