During the week, Google released a major update with version number 52.0 for Google Drive for Windows and MacOS. With this update, Google has implemented support for Apple’s M1 processor. Additionally, access to folders and files created offline has been improved and support for some cameras has been added to backup the drive. Added the ability to manage and purchase additional cloud storage from Google Drive for desktop. Additionally, the ability to call SIP phones via the Meat plugin has been added. There are additional bug fixes and improvements. The update can run on Windows 7 and MacOS 10.11 or later and can now be downloaded from Google.
