Tons of goods carried into the sea by the flooding of the Tordino River were unloaded on the shores of Giulianova from the last storm. Mostly wood, but lots of plastic, old gas cylinders, cans.
A large expansion of the waste affecting not only the southern part of the port, but also the northern part. Here the trees, dry branches, reeds, old strollers and bottles that had been uprooted during the fury were dumped into the sea. A situation that particularly worries fishermen.

“We do everything we can to protect the seas,” Scio recalled.
