Local Coal Bed Mission (MLBH) acquires a new tool, A smartphone application integrated with the Citigomi operating system. Created in 2015 to provide real-time information, it was initially designed for communities before being expanded to various public services. Christian Schmidt, director of MLBH, has decided to integrate this community and provide this opportunity to 2,000 or more young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who are constantly monitored each year.

    Application for direct contact

The basic idea is to “be as responsive as possible and to use all technological means to attract young people,” explains Christian Schmidt. “On networks like Facebook they are less and less”, and with each new option he “has a limited lifespan, more or less passing quickly”. So the idea is to offer an app that can be downloaded for free on all smartphones, iPhone and Android. “It’s a very effective tool, accessible not only to young people, but also to parents and our partners, and it enables mass information and live broadcasts,” the director declares.

Once the processor is downloaded, all you have to do is enter the name Municipality, Freaming-Merleback in this case, and the portal opens with three channels to process “various messages such as jobs, training and forums”. .

Investment in local work is more than measured. “It costs about 200 1,200 a year in our own funds,” says Christian Schmidt. He compared this app to another site available for all local tasks, and it made it possible to send messages via SMS, but the difference was significant “at a news release rate of one month, per year, it costs us. The same amount, in this system, we can make twelve releases a day, if we want.

    A portal to create

However, this does not change the essential and direct contact with the consultant. “It requires follow-up, support, cover letters, preparation of interviews, but also encouraging or re-encouraging young people and talking to them about various movement aids”, which is a major barrier to applying for a job.

The same application will be useful for professionals such as various associates, large shopping centers, who can benefit from this site to quickly and widely disseminate their recruitment needs through local work. The application, available for a few days, is in the running phase, but is already opening up new perspectives for local work.
