Forza Horizon 5: Ray tracing mode for all game modes

From Maximilian Home
Current generation graphics cards and consoles support ray tracing effects. Using this feature, games that give realistic lighting effects to the player are released little by little. Read more about Forza Horizon 5 and how to use Permanent Radiation Tracing below.

Retracing is a feature that costs performance, but it also greatly enhances the look of many titles with realistic lighting effects and reflections. Forza Horizon 5 brings native support for ray tracing on PC and newer redesigns on Xbox. However, these are not commonly available in all game modes. They can only be implemented in Forza Vista and the garage, and even the game’s photo mode does not benefit from them.

Society seems to disagree, and the “dictator” has found a solution to the problem. Ray Tracing Mode uses cheat machine and allows players to use Ray tracing effects in all modes. To what extent it makes sense to use this program in an online game, users should weigh themselves and at least one person should try to use offline mode to reduce the risk of being blocked.

Raytracing can only be used with the Nvidia cards of Turing and AMD’s latest RDNA2 graphics cards. Traditionally, Nvidia has lower performance losses when using Ray tracing due to RT cores, and this applies to FH5 as well. In 4K with 60 FPS, the GPU should output one image every 16.7 ms. With the RTX 3080, frame times are increased by 1.7 ms with ray tracing, while with the RX 6800 XT it is 2.9 ms. Since the Xbox is based on RDNA2 and should get much less power than the RX 6800 XT, it is questionable whether all methods will be implemented by the ray tracing manufacturer.
