In addition to a major upgrade to Windows 11, Microsoft will release a “minor” feature update this year, Windows 10 version 21H2. It is not yet clear when, but the Windows Insider program is making great strides. Now a new update has appeared, which is the 21H2 creation with number 19044.1202 Launch launch preview channel. The update is listed under KB5005101 and includes primarily bug fixes and updates. Among other things, an issue with the Windows update process has been resolved.
Switching from insiders
At the end of this post we have included the very short release notes published with this method creation. Another big change Microsoft has already announced is important for all insiders: this update will automatically be available to Windows insiders who are already on the Windows 10, Windows 21 H2 release preview channel. To check if Windows 10, version 21H2 is running, enter “WinWor” in the Windows search box on the taskbar. “Version 21H2” should be displayed there later.

For those who have not yet worked with Windows 10, version 21H2 – this update is provided through our search function in Windows Update and only for those who have switched from beta channel to release preview channel because their PC did not meet the hardware requirements for Windows 11. That means you need to download and install these internal settings Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update and Windows 10, Version 21H2.
In addition to all the upgrades listed in Built 19044.1200, this update includes the following changes:
