“Our aim is to design the film festival as a community space, creating a logical effect that finally resolves all possibilities of cinematic use,” announced festival director Svenza Patkar and art director Oliver Palmgarden. The MOP is considered the most important festival for young German language film and marks the discovery of young talent from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The last face-to-face event in January 2020 was attended by about 45,500 spectators.
