FIFA 21 Title Update 5 is now available for download on Xbox and PS4

FIFA 21 players on Xbox and PlayStation 4 are now able to download the latest update, Title Update 5 now lives on all platforms.

The latest update to FIFA 21 includes headline update 5, significant changes to the game, the FIFA Ultimate Team, carrier mode, pro clubs, Volta Football and some common audio / visual updates.

Some of the changes mentioned in the patch notes below include changes to the Team Press T-Bat tactic, overload ball side, constant pressure, pressure on heavy touch, and possession loss tactics on game endurance. There are also changes to the matchmaking logic of division competitors for employment competitions in order to avoid skill rating inequality when doing matchmaking.

The update covers about 2.7GB on the Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS4. Players must update a copy of FIFA 21 before playing the game, and the title update will start automatically when you start the game on the console.

The update will be available for FIFA 21 players on PC from November 12, but players on the Xbox One and PS4 will be able to download the new update from November 17.

The latest title update for FIFA 21 is now available for PC (Origin / Steam), PlayStation 4 & Xbox One and includes changes below.

Sports

Made the following changes:

  • Increased the distance a ball can travel after contact with the defender’s foot or leg during blocking animation.
  • The Team Press T-Bat tactic reduced the active time from 30 seconds to 20 seconds before the cooldown was required.

  • Overload increased the impact of the Ball Side T-Bat tactic on sports endurance.

  • The impact of loss of possession tactics on static pressure, pressure for heavy touch and sports endurance increased.
    • Further details on this change will be provided in the upcoming Pitch Notes article.

Addressed the following issues:

  • When requesting a shot, players sometimes take longer than they thought to shoot.
  • Addressed a few instances where user-controlled players perform automatic lunch animation when the Boss Block Assistance system is disabled.
  • Bridge could not make the ability move when playing with the specific button reuse.
  • He said only various scenes during the post-match discount and promotional playoff scenes had issues.
  • If a mistake is made it will lead to a yellow card, but if it is not awarded because the referee calls for a benefit, the offender may commit another yellow card offense and the referee may show a red card directly.
  • In rare situations, a collision between the goalkeeper and the opponent’s player may result in the goalkeeper hitting the ball with the ball, resulting in an own goal.
    • These events will now be considered false.
  • In rare cases, a goalkeeper will do one diving save animation earlier than intended, followed by another diving save.
    • The initial save animation does not affect the following save animation.
  • In some situations, the goalkeeper may reach his own goal if the throwing goal is aimed at the nearest receiver.
  • Player rating sometimes takes longer to update after a player has scored a goal.
  • Following the goalkeeper’s pass in advanced training situations, the user may lose control of the player.
  • Some house rules against CPU AI do not match the level of difficulty in the game, the system in which the competition is set.
  • When performing a celebration such as picking up the ball away from a goal and running back to the center of the field, the celebrating player can go through the goal frame and net.
  • In some cases, skill moves will not be made if requested immediately upon return of the ball carrier.
  • In rare cases, a player may pause a match immediately after another player’s set piece.
  • An unplanned skill game was removed from appearing during pre-match loading.
  • Addressed a rare consistency issue that can occur during the game.

FIFA Ultimate Team

Caused the following change:

  • Club Anthem and Crowd Magic items can now preview their audio on the Auction Options screen.

Addressed the following issues:

  • In order to avoid possible skill rating imbalance when fitted, the adjustment category for employment competitions is the matching logic.
  • Some ball items do not show shadows in the game.
  • When attempting to access the objectives screen via the button shortcut on the group event screen, an error message will appear when the group event is over and the game will switch to the FUT menu.
  • When returning to the FUT menu after seeing an outdated objective, the time remaining counter and the take me chariot button shortcut are sometimes not shown.
  • Some celebratory items did not show their exact names.
  • Button sound effects are not triggered in the cooperative lobby and the cooperative widget.
  • Juan Roman Rickelmin’s player object bio is not displayed correctly.
  • Social tab mistypes layers as levels.
  • FUT fixed the background of the store tile.
  • Credit player items do not show the credit indicator icon on the season progress screen.
  • There was some placeholder text in the Live FUT friendship.
  • Updated FUT Pack Art on RIvals Mastery Objective.

Professional system

Addressed the following issues:

  • During the negotiation scenes, two false and identical manager models were used.
  • In the notifications when entering the transfer center through the credit offer and selecting the appropriate player, there is no option to accept.
  • Europe has been misrepresented as qualified for the board goal to achieve the High Board goal.
  • The Golden Boot Award news story will sometimes show the wrong text.
  • A news headline can sometimes mistype the status of a club name with a player name.
  • The Jump Int Sim option in the game pause menu is incorrectly named Sim Rest of Match.
  • When playing with a real player in the player’s life, Harry Armstrong’s model is not exactly shown.
  • The match player is sometimes missing from a particular post match.
  • When a young player is unresolved, two emails will be sent to the player control manager instead of one.

Volta football

Made the following changes:

  • Adjusted length of pre-loading screens to give players more time to read the information provided.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Additional cases where players find a team match and are presented with the “Could not set match” error message.
  • When cycling through my team’s on-screen displays, avatar portraits can display the wrong background, making it difficult to read the information provided.
  • When entering VOLTA FOOTBALL, the message tile is not automatically selected.
  • Visual corruption that can occur when playing as a Real Madrid player in exclusive battles.
  • Some star players showed incorrect OVR.
  • Some clothing items were misrepresented in avatars during some scenes.
  • In my team, the group chemistry explanation was disconnected.
  • Structures for many clothing items were updated.

Pro Clubs

Made the following changes:

  • Group, group and camera celebrations can now be done.
  • The camera will now zoom in slightly towards the goal scorer while celebrating.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Saved custom tactics and game plans do not apply to the game.
  • The direct run indicator found in FIFA training systems is not visible during a match.
  • Misinterpretation of online seasons can sometimes play out during a match.

General, audio and visual

Made the following changes:

  • Updated how ping bars are displayed in online competition lobbies as more representative of the gaming experience:
    • 0 to 30 milliseconds now show five green wires.
    • 31 to 59 milliseconds now show four green wires.
    • 60 to 99 milliseconds now show three orange wires.
    • 100 to 124 milliseconds now show two orange wires.
    • 125 or more milliseconds now show a red bar.
    • This is only a visual change and will not affect the online gaming experience.
  • New menu tiles have been added for the upcoming FIFA PlayTime tool, which will be available at a later date.
    • FIFA PlayTime is a new tool that allows players to have greater control and visibility over how they play, and access the main menu via FUT and VOLTA FOOTBALL.

  • 25 Player Starheads Added.

  • In rare cases, a match may be loaded without appropriate settings.
  • When club transfers browse players through the screen, weak foot and capable moving star ratings are not displayed correctly.
  • Various stability issues.
  • Switching to goalkeeper control The basic controls are not listed in the menu.
  • Addressed some of the events where the audio was cut during a match.
  • When Cristiano Ronaldo performs his signature celebration, other players will use his voice model.

FIFA 21 is now available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and the next generation version will be released on December 4, 2020 on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5.

Additionally, fans jumping on the FIFA 21 can benefit from dual rights, and can upgrade their game copy from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5 and up to the Xbox One Xbox Series X / S at no extra cost.
