Heavy rains from February 20 to March 20, 2020 caused huge loss of income for some arborists in the area. After several months of waiting, a ministerial decree dated December 2, 2020, finally allows the U.S.-Japanese plum and apricot tree compensation process to open.

The entire sector is concerned except for the following municipalities: Castles, Espinas, Genes, Phenyroles, Laguspi, LaVaret, Montreux, Nobel Wall of St. Anthony, St. Circ, Septbonds, Warren, Verbeal.

    Who qualifies?

Damage is calculated using data from the disaster level and quantities harvested in 2020. To qualify, the losses must be greater than 13% of the total theoretical total production of the exploitation, and for each affected organism, the physical loss must be greater than the loss of theoretical production (sectoral size). In addition, the calculated damage must be in excess of 1,000 euros.

Concerned operators can collect the printed form at the Town Hall, Dorn-et-Coron Regional Directorate Directorate (DDT) or download it from the State Services Internet Portal. It must be returned to DDT by February 15, 2021.
