E3 2021: Live event finally canceled

The symptoms have already intensified, but now it seems official: E3 will not be used as a live event in 2021 to date.

It would have been a big surprise anyway, but now it’s fixed: 203 – like last year – will not be a live event on the site in Los Angeles. This is now clear from the new documents released by the Los Angeles Conference and the Tourism Development Authority.

These documents of authority state that E3 2021 has now been canceled as a direct event of the site. It also states that the Commission is working with the host ESA to disclose other transfer options exclusively for E3 online.

A few weeks ago there were speculations that E3 2021 would only be planned as a digital event, but there have been no official reports from the ESA on this matter yet. If previous reports are confirmed, there will be three days of live streams, remote demos and additional game information as part of the digital event from June 15 to 17.

Well-known sports journalist Jeff Keeley will not be seen as a face in live streams; The evaluator wants to dedicate himself to the Summer Sports Festival, which will return in 2021.
