Both the PC1 and the NestCam (battery) have a 2-megapixel sensor, so they offer better HD recordings. It is not possible to select another definition from Google, which generally offers fewer video settings. Mountain View offers only black and white night vision, while in addition to the required infrared LEDs, projectors allow color images even at night. An option to help identify potential intruders because it allows them to not only see their faces, but also know the color of their clothing.
Color night vision aside, both cameras are capable of delivering quality images. The PC1 works a little better during the day, but the NestCam (battery) makes its infrared view a little thinner and more uniform. Against 3 meters on the Swiss camera, he was able to identify someone up to 4 meters in his pictures. Motion detectors on Google are also more sensitive. A path 9 meters in front of the nest game (battery) triggered it, while PC1 struggled to detect movements at 6 meters with its PIR sensor.
Despite the extra options of the Ezviz BC1, the Nest Cam (battery) is still one round to win here.
