With GeForce 465.89 WHQL, Nvidia brings a driver that supports resizable BAR (rBAR) on the GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 and 3060 Ti. These models require a VBIOS update to be active. Nvidia and Partners provide a related update tool for parallel downloads.
Activate the resizable BAR on the GeForce RTX 3000
The new GeForce RTX3000 laptop GPUs and GeForce RTX3060 12GB were compatible with the factory-mounted single video BIOS “rBAR” ampere graphics cards. All other graphics cards require upgrade. Related update tools are now available from Nvidia and custom design manufacturers.
After the reboot, it should be reported that WHQL Resizable BAR is active in the driver properties of GeForce 465.85, which is the main board of the BIOS that already supports rBAR.

Like AMD, the driver uses rBAR only on selected topics. There are currently 17 titles on this list, nine more than the GeForce RTX 3060 launched in February.

On own scale Nvidia promises to boost performance on the WQHD by up to 12% with the GeForce RTX 3080 in conjunction with the Raisen 9 5950X. The fact that the VBIOS update tools released earlier this weekend have not yet shown any effect may be due to the fact that the end driver is not ready yet. The computer base will try to create its own definitions before Easter, which will only get the lowest profit of the Nvidia opportunity.

Dirty 5 ready for the game
With GeForce 465.89 WHQL (“Game Ready”), Nvidia releases a new graphics driver to detect radiation in the arcade racing game Dirt 5 (Test) from Codemasters. AMD had already made the 2020 version of the new adrenaline with 21.3.2. It is not parallel.
Like Adrenaline Driver, GeForce 465.89 WHQL Co-Operator Outdoor (System Requirements) and Strategic Game Evil Genius 2: World Domination by Rebellion, Distributed by Publisher Square Enix. Nvidia also supports the introduction of Kingdom Hearts in the epic game store with the new driver.
