Motorola recently announced the mid-range Moto G82 smartphone. And one of the key highlights of the new Moto G-series phone is its camera, with a triple-lens camera array on the back and a 16MP snapper for selfies. And obviously, it captures good and decent photos using the stock camera app. But you can improve photography on Moto G82 by downloading Pixel 6 Camera App or GCam Mod. Google Camera for Moto G82 can be downloaded here.

Motorola’s latest G-series phone packs a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. In terms of software, the Moto G82 features the same default app found on the recently announced Motorola G-series phones. The app captures beautiful images using features like Active Photos, Portrait, Cutout, Night Vision, Ultra-Res (50MP Camera Mode), Pro Mode, Slow Motion and Basic functions. But if you’re looking for a third-party camera app, you can try the Google Camera app, also known as GCam Port.

You will be happy to know that the recently released GCam 8.5 (from the Pixel 6a) can be installed on the Moto G82 smartphone. The latest version of Google Camera Port has many useful features. Supports features like Astrophotography Mode, Night Sight, Slowmo, Beauty Mode, HDR Enhanced, Lens Blur, Photosphere, Playground, RAW, Google Lens. Now let’s see the steps to download and install Google Camera app on Moto G82.

Camera2 API is one of the main prerequisites for installing GCam app on any Android phone. Motorola’s latest Moto G82 comes with Camera2 API support, which means you can easily install the Google Camera app on your smartphone. The phone supports quite a few GCam ports, including the latest GCam 8.5 port (from the Pixel 6a), thanks to BSG who ported the new version to other Android phones. At these ports you can use astrophotography and night vision.

To indicate: Before installing the new application brought by Gcam Mod, make sure to uninstall the old version (if you have installed it). This is not a stable version of Google Camera, so there may be some bugs.

If you want better results, you can follow below steps and add configuration file.

    3. Open the GCam folder and create another folder named configs7.
    4. Now paste the configuration file into the configs7 folder.
    5. Once done, open the Google Camera app and double-tap the black blank area next to the shutter button.
