That’s good because Freebox (Delta, One and Revolution) allows you to access a large number of TV channels on your TVs, thanks to a simple application. Be careful though, only free channel streams are legal, but you can find many free French speaking channels

To install this free app, you must first go to the accessible freestore from the “My Apps” section of the TV interface, and then download / install the M3U (be careful, we are talking about the M3U app here, it’s free, there is another paid M3U player app)

Then start the application. Once logged in, you have two choices: enter the address of the M3U file or download the M3U file and copy it to Freebox Delta’s hard drive beforehand. We recommend this second solution, which is easier to implement.

To retrieve the M3U file that compiles the IP addresses of different TV streams as a reminder, there are some sites. But in general, as you quickly notice, you have to go through Google and queries “Functional M3U file” Or search forums to find things that work. Note that you can also share what you know in the comments below this article.

Once the M3U file (s) is recovered, they must be transferred to the Freebox hard drive. To do this, open Freebox OS in a web browser using the address http://mafreebox.freebox.fr. Then open “File Analysts” Scroll to the folder of your choice. In our case, we have chosen “Downloads”. All you have to do is drag the M3U files to the directory.

Download and transfer completed. Now let’s upload the files. It’s so simple. You have to choose “Hard M3U”Browse the tree to come to the M3U files and check their readability.

Once the M3U file is open and the TV channel is loaded, you can access the control bar with the Play, Pause, Rewind and Preset buttons by pressing the down arrow on the remote control. The second press displays the visual definition, such as the language of the stream or the audio codecs used.

To access the list of available channels, press the back button on the remote control. The second press closes the M3U file.
