Approval was given yesterday morning for the burial of 44-year-old gardener David Toratioto, who was electrocuted on Friday afternoon, with a chainsaw and medium voltage wires placed near a fir tree. The accident happened while he was chopping wood from the top of a forklift, through Marango, between a chicken farm area and the Linen Bridge. Funeral services will be held at the Cathedral on Tuesday at 3.30pm, while the Rosary Voting will begin at 7.30pm tomorrow. The family asked for all donations to be made to the In Famiglia Association, which carries cancer patients.
The tragedy took place before the eyes of his brother and colleague Federico Toratiotto. Like FedEx, David also had a background in amateur football.
