A motorcyclist was involved in a fatal crash Tuesday afternoon in St. Aquitaine (Shorting District).
The accident happened in a small, winding forest in Rockhartnstrass in the municipality of St. Aquitaine. Unfortunately, any help came too late for the 48-year-old motorcyclist. The alert helicopter’s emergency physician can only determine the death of the motorcyclist.
“A 48-year-old man from the district of Shorting was driving his motorcycle from Waltkirchen in the direction of St. Aquitaine on March 30, 2021 at 3pm when he collided with a small truck that had fallen off the opposite lane. A 48-year-old man was seriously injured in the crash, and Lenker was not injured in the crash, police said.
The fire brigade carried out rescue operations. The motorcycle slipped into the woods and came to a halt.
Rogarternstrass was closed to traffic for about two hours at the scene of the accident.
