The 109th Men’s Edition will have a big launch on July 1 from Copenhagen. Once the three Danish levels are completed, Pelotton will take over the sidewalks, especially in northern France. After taking a detour via Belgium, the Super Planche des Belles Filles and Switzerland, Grande Boucle’s runners tackle the Alps. Col du Granon and Alpe d’Huez then make their way before Massif Central and Aspen, the Pyrenees with the Hourquette d’Ancizan, Col d’Azet and Peyragudes line to the Champs-Elysées.

Competed between 1984 and 2009, the women’s event returns after twelve years of absence and offers eight stages from Champs-Elysées to Super Planche des Belles Filles. The course faces east of the capital, and, like the curriculum for men, offers a rugged and varied profile. “Very beautiful study, but difficult”, Said Thomas Vogler. Racers, especially Eberney, will go through the Grand Ballon d’Alces.
