First major results for the Intel Core i9-12900HK
Gives better values for CPU. The CPU with 14 cores and 20 threads does not yet have exact clock ratios. A base clock of 2.9 GHz can be obtained from the definitions. However, it is not clear whether this only applies to fast core or slow game cores. Intel uses six high-performance cores with hyper-threading and eight energy-saving cores without hyper-threading. Intel is trying this concept of different cores for the first time.
Excellent geekbench results
The Core i9-12900HK scored 1,851 points in a single core test on Geekbench. The CPU can score 13,256 points in a multi-core test. The processor crashes the previous high score on the Geekbench database of mobile CPUs. Accordingly, the new Intel mobile chip, based on the Zen 3 (Raison 5980 HX: 1,506 points) or Apple’s M1 Max (1,785 points), is pushing even earlier pioneers from AMD to the bottom. This also applies to the multicore test, which is significantly better with 13,256 points than the previous generation Core i9-11980HK with 9,149 points.

Intel is expected to deliver the Core i9-12900HK along with other Alter Lake chips at CES in early 2022. Intel plans to integrate the processor with its own Arc Alchemist graphics cards. The result will be a powerful mobile device that is ideal for gaming as well.
