Comparison Fight: Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max vs Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Comparison Fight: Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max vs Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Both smartphones take a completely different approach to the capital aspect of photography. On the one hand, the South Korean company has a telephoto x3 with a core volume of 108 megapixels and a periscopic module x10, both at 10 Mpx. Finally, the 12MPX ultra wide-angle module completes the package.

At Apple, the iPhone 13 Pro Max has three 12MPX modules. The company wants to deliver objectives with much larger holes than defined. So the main module opens at f / 1.5, while the ultra wide-angle opens at f / 1.8 – which is very rare on a smartphone. The telephoto lens allows you to benefit from the x3 optical zoom effect, with a smaller aperture than last year.

This round is played in a pocket square, which wins the iPhone 13 Pro Max. While the S21 Ultra’s 108MPX module allows you to capture more detailed footage during the day, the latter is better at night than the iPhone, as well as the ultra wide-angle module. Taking advantage of lenses with a large aperture and capturing more light is enough to lead the fight. In the case of the X3 telephoto lens, the two models are very close. During the day, the iPhone offers more accurate image color measurement, while the S21 Ultra benefits from better detail reproduction.
