Chrome 101 is available and here are its key new features

Four weeks after the release of Chrome 100, Google is upgrading its browser to version 101, with some relatively new features for end users. Nevertheless, although Google has integrated many new features, these are still being tested and will not be implemented by default in the browser. To use them, you must manually activate them in the Chrome Test Functions menu.

The first of these new functions is about the Chrome Download Manager interface. Google is doing a new, very modern and above all very practical test. It compiles downloaded files in a single menu pasted on the top right of the window, as in Microsoft Edge. To take advantage of it, you need to go to the page dedicated to the flag, chrome: // flags / # download-bubble Enable the function by setting the default parameter to enabled.

Chrome’s built-in password manager gets a new feature. Since Google has added a field for this purpose, you can now add notes to passwords stored in the browser. You must go to the page dedicated to the flag (chrome: // flags / # password-notes) Run it on Chrome on your computer.

Finally, the functionality that allows Google to work in Chrome 95 and save groups of tabs in Chrome that need to be executed via flag chrome: // flags / # tab-groups-save It may be released very soon in a future browser update.

If this function still does not work, it will work properly in Chrome 101. Therefore, when saving a group of tabs, a dedicated button will be added to the bookmarks bar. Also, it allows you to reopen all the tabs with a single click. Team.

Of the rest, Google has fixed about thirty security vulnerabilities identified by security researchers outside of Google.
