    Montreal, May 21, 2021 (Globe Newswire) – Velo is hosting a Quebec video conference as part of the Velo Montreal Festival Cycling and the big change in Paris, By Kristof Najdovsky, deputy of the city of Paris. Going through Montreal in 2016 to deliver the “Le Virez Velo de Paris” and coming back to us five years later, it takes on the impact of the ambitious 2015-2020 cycling program that has transformed Paris in terms of movement.

    About Christoph Najdovsky
    Born in Paris in 1969, Christoph Najdowski is Professor of Economics and Social Policy. In 1993, he joined the Green Party and campaigned for movements to promote cycling and to better share public space. Since 2001, he has been elected to the City of Paris and has held various positions under Deputy Mayor Anne Hidalgo, particularly in charge of transportation, travel, roads and public spaces from 2014 to 2020, and then from 2020 onwards, he has been responsible for public spaces, green spaces, biodiversity and animal health. Christoph Najdowski has also been the President of the European Cycling Federation since 2018.
