By selecting individual cards, you can move them back and forth, spread them out on the floor, and activate them with the push of a button. What happens next depends on the symbol on the card; Some then rise to form a block, while others build a kind of house with a pointed roof, or you build tall towers that are particularly tall. You can now use these constructions to build bridges or reach higher ground. A certain level of spatial and in-depth understanding can be very helpful because you should always evaluate where you place your cards and how far you will spread them, especially in the later stages. The more cards are distributed, the larger areas or higher constructions will eventually turn out to be. Later in the game, there are additional obstacles such as drafting your cards in the wrong place or throwing them on platforms that rise and fall depending on their weight.

Proper evaluation ensures that the various maps and newly introduced additional components increase the level of difficulty evenly and are always relevant. At the end of the game you can reach after a good 10 to 12 hours, the puzzles become more and more tricky and require a lot from your gray. After all, no conditions are in any way unreasonable; The puzzles are all well thought out and once you come up with the solution, there will always be aha effect. If you do not receive anything further, you can always specify the next step through the notification system. However, this system is not as effective as you might think, especially in the latter stages. The levels of the next cards will be shown to you, but the game ignores the current status of your character – which then plays a major role. What a shame, there are only four different card designs in the end, which will eventually do different harm towards the back.

Graphically, Grads Fall comes with a beautiful look and levels that pay more attention to detail, but over time the theme comes back again and again. Far from the murmurs of the characters, due to the fact that there is no proper voice output, there is no corresponding German dubbing. However, not all texts have been translated into German. The soundtrack is very quiet and compliant, true to the actual gameplay, but not really noticed in one or the other direction.
