From April 25, 2022City Cerborg-n-Codentin (Manche) Begins school and extracurricular enrollment for 2022-2023. For first school registration, it is possible to meet with the structures responsible for enrollment in designated municipalities. For non-reception and school catering updates, the process has been removed from the Family Portal and City website.
Who cares?
Parents of children going to school for the first time: children entering the small section (PS) of the kindergarten born in 2019; Children born in 2020 and entering the smallest category (DPS) by age 2 on the first day of the school year (subject to availability); Children arriving in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin or moving into the new municipality. Exceptions are possible so that the student continues to study at the same institution or is cared for after class by a maternal assistant.
“Like last year, for other levels, school enrollment is done automatically. The goal is to make the process easier for families. Parents do not have to take any action if an exception is to be made,” explains Dominique Hebert, an education assistant.
How to proceed?
First, make an appointment over the phone with the structure that manages the records in the municipality (opposite list) where the delegates reside. On the day of the appointment, submit yourself with the requested supporting documents.
Second, contact the school principal to confirm registration with a pre-registration certificate issued by the city.
Course and catering?
For children going to school for the first time, these registrations will take place at the same time as the school registration. The file families can be downloaded from the portal. Copies are available on the site.
For children already enrolled in city school by 2021-2022, parents are invited to continue updating these records: Download the form, fill it out (convertible document) and return it with the required proofs. , To the email address associated with their representative municipality (opposite list).
