Aldi will soon have two gaming laptops, the Medion Erazer Beast X25 and the Sub P25. Both notebooks come with an AMD processor and an RTX laptop graphics chip.

Median is expanding its portfolio of mobile gaming PCs and will soon launch the Erazer Beast X25 and Sub P25 laptops. Both gaming notebooks use the current AMD Raison processor and the Ampere graphics chip from Nvidia. The Beast X25 offers a matte QHD screen with 17.3 inches and 165 Hz, while the cheaper Deputy P25 features a matte Full HD display with 144 Hz and 15.6 inches. The AMD Ryzen 7 5900HX provides the impetus on the X25, while the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H is installed on the P25. An Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 laptop GPU with 165 watts TGP is responsible for the graphics performance of the larger Beast X25, while the sub P25 has a maximum of 130 watts TGP with the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 laptop GPU.

In terms of storage, the Beast X25 has two terabytes of PCI Express SST, while the Depty P25 PCI Express SST has a capacity of 512 gigabytes. The working memory of the 17.3-inch model is 64 gigabytes of DDR4-3200 RAM, while the portable laptop has 16 gigabytes of DDR4-3200 RAM. Median laptops offer the following ports:

  • 17.3-inch Median Eraser Beast X25: 3x USB Type-A (one USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 3.2 Gen 1), 1x USB Type-C with Displayport functionality, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x LAN, microSD-memory card reader, 1x power supply connector, 1x mic-in, 1x audio-out.
  • 15.6-inch Median Eraser Support P25: 2x USB Type-A (one USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 3.2 Gen 1), Displayport functionality with 1x USB Type-C, 1x HDMI, 1x LAN, 1x Mini Displayport, 1x Power Supply Connection, 1x mic-in, 1x audio-out.

Both the Medion Erazer Beast X25 and the Erazer Deputy P25 are shipped directly with Windows 11 Home. According to Median, the Sub P25 should provide a maximum of four hours of battery life. The Beast X25 has a larger capacity built-in battery than its smaller brother, but the maximum battery life is three hours.
