Asus jumps on both legs in the “Content Creators” category in the footsteps of Intel or Nvidia. Common points of these models announced during the online event are that they are all fitted with an OLED panel and are available with an Intel or AMD processor.
Laptops called “Content Creator” are divided into 3 ranges: ProArt StudioBook which includes workstations, VivoBook Pro and ZenBook which have an aluminum chassis.
The VivoBook Pro range includes 4 models: 14 OLED (S3400), 15 OLED (S3500), 14X OLED (N7400) and 16X OLED (N7600).
The VivoBook Pro is equipped with 14 OLED and 15 OLED, as their name implies, 14 or 15 inch OLED panel in 16:10 format with 2880 x 1800 px or 1920 x 1200 px configuration depending on the configuration.
The chassis of these two models is particularly relaxed in two colors, silver gray or dark blue. The port is compatible with 3 USB ports, an HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, power delivery and a microSD card reader.
In terms of performance, Asus will offer AMD Raison 5000-H processors or 11th generation Intel Core processors. They come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage depending on the configuration. The graphics part is provided by GeForce RTX 3050 as Asus can be re-integrated or selected.
Availability of these two models is expected to be 6 99,699 for the VivoBook Pro 14 OLED for Q4 2021 and € 849 for the VivoBook Pro 15 OLED.
The VivoBook Pro 14X OLED (N7400) and Pro 16X OLED (N7600) take the design of the non-X models with some extra refinement and slightly more muscle structure.
Thus the virtual wheel Asus dialpad appears on the top left of the touchpad. The latter allows you to make quick changes, especially with Adobe software After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro. A partnership between Adobe and Asus has come to an end to better support this virtual wheel. Keyboard screen printing is more detailed with a red Esc key and all gray function keys. The 16-inch version has a numbered keyboard unlike the 14-inch version.
The OLED panel is still in 16:10 format, but its resolution can reach 3840 x 2400 px with a brightness of 600 cd / m² for the 14-inch version and 550 cd / m² for the 16-inch version. As with the non-X VivoBooks, it has been announced that the VivoBook Pro will be available for 1, 1,299 for the 14X OLED and € 1,599 for the VivoBook Pro 16X OLED in the 4th quarter of this year.
