With a release expected by the end of 2021, the upcoming 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros are attracting more attention. The current MacBook Pro M1 is still limited in performance, ultimately no different from the MacBook Air M1. Apple’s next “pro” laptops will stand out by hosting high-end components, the M1X (or M2) SoCs being at the forefront, with more RAM, more integrated (MacSafe charger, reader SD card, HDMI port மற்றும்) and undoubtedly a mini Led screen.
A UHS-II SD card reader
According to special YouTuber Luke Miani, the SD card reader is UHS-II compatible, and therefore offers higher speeds than the classic UHS. In theory, they can go from 104 MB / s to 312 MB / V, which is a significant speed gain, depending on the chips actually used by each manufacturer. Photographers and videographers should appreciate in any case this reader who has disappeared for a few generations at Max.
Goodbye 64GB RAM
On the other hand, professionals and informed amateurs alike will be disappointed by the second rumor announced by Miani: the MacBook Pro M1X’s RAM will not increase to a maximum of 64GB, but it will only be installed at 32GB. This should be sufficient for most users – and if the gain is significant compared to the 16GB currently provided – most people with multitasking or post-greed product software may be disabled by this limit.
Check out these rumors and wait a few months to get the new 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pro …
