At the moment the SoC is capable of integrating twice as many CPU cores and impressive 64 GPU cores as the M1 Max. It is backed by a maximum of 128GB of integrated memory and the manufacturer claims 8 times more performance than the classic M1. The M1 Ultra can now be found on all new Mac studios, provided by the manufacturer during the keynote address. While waiting for the full test of the SoC in our lab, we can only hope for the ultra-high performance with more controlled consumption.
