Apple: Everything you need to know about the iOS update to version 15.5

Launched on Monday, May 16th with the iPadOS 15.5, this new update brings some minor changes to the iPhones. It’s about making smaller application changes and setting the domain for what’s next than new features like Universal Control that started with 15.4.

Here is a list of things to know about this update.

How to download iOS 15.5?

You can download iOS 15.5 by going to Settings> General> Software Update> Download & Install. The 15.5 upgrade weighs approximately 630MB.

What’s New for Apple Cash?

This is the biggest change in this update. In fact, Apple has added “send” and “listen” buttons to its app. The update will make transactions easier by reducing the number of steps to go, making life easier for users.

Podcasts

You can now control the number of episodes stored on the device to improve the storage memory used by the application. If you add a new one, the old one will be deleted automatically.

This feature is very convenient for everyday podcasts, allowing the user to avoid doing in-house chores when re-listening to a passage from a recent broadcast.

Photo editing

Apple has made a change in the “memories” function of its photo app so that it does not display memories from “sensitive locations”. At the moment, they are all associated with the Holocaust, but this list may be extended in the future.

Apple Classic

Although there was no new Apple Classic app in the iOS 15.5 update, MacRumors 15.5 found references in the beta. Future updates may bring Apple Classic following the acquisition of Primphonic, a classical music streaming service purchased by the Apple brand last year.
