    An Xbox Series X | Connect the S controller to the iPhone or iPad

    With the next iOS update, iPhones and iPods Xbox Series X | S becomes compatible with controllers. However, if you are interested in trying this out and want to run your new Xbox remotely, you can already enjoy it. For that, you need to install General Beta on your Apple devices.     Recommendations with installation

    First, the beta says who says instability. In fact, the meaning of a beta is to make certain features available for testing and to adjust them to the edge to optimize the official release. Therefore, in our case, the controller can be quickly discharged or disconnected in a timely manner.
    Then, since it is in beta, we recommend creating a backup of your device on your PC / Mac or iCloud, especially for your most important data. Apple makes it clear that beta can cause data loss or annoying errors. Although Apple’s latest betas are very stable, we would like to warn you and expect any problems.     Xbox Series X on your Apple device Here are the steps to compatibility with S controllers. Allow about 10 to 15 minutes for your controller to connect to complete all the steps.

    1. Sign up for the Apple Beta.
      First, go to the Apple website at the following address, from the device you use to play: https://beta.apple.com/sp/fr/betaprogram/. From your iPhone or iPod, you now need to create an account to access the public beta. Sign up and sign in with your Apple account.

    2. Choose your OS
      Once logged in, Apple will allow you to install different versions of the public beta. For this tutorial, we used an iPod, so we chose to install iPods 14.5. If you are using an iPhone, choose iOS. Note that the guide is the same for both OS.Step-2-Installation-Profile
    3. Register your iPhone or iPod for beta
      Now that you have selected the OS to install, all you have to do is add your device to the beta program. If you use an iPad like us, the text “Register your iPod” will appear. If you are using an iPhone, the text “Register your iPhone” will be displayed.Step-3-Installation-Profile
    4. Download profile
      Apple now offers you to install a beta profile to use its latest update. All you have to do here is click the “Download Profile” button and authenticate the download through the window that appears.Step-4-Installation-Profile
    5. Install profile
      Now go to your iPhone or iPad settings and let the profile install. To do this, follow the on-screen instructions and restart your device.Step-5-Installation-Profile
    6. Install the latest iOS or iPadOS 14.5 update.
      You now have access to the latest iPods or iOS updates. Once the new public beta is available, you can go to your settings (public / software update) and download it.
